So I'm a little slow, but that is more usual than unusual for me I'm afraid. On July 3rd, we blessed our oh-so-sweet Avery Faith in Dan's parent's ward in Spanish Fork. It was a really great day and we are so grateful for the love and support of the family and friends who were there with us on this special day (and for those who wanted to be there). Dan gave such a nice blessing and I felt totally overwhelmed with gratitude for this sweet little person that we are lucky enough to have in our family. We were one of FOUR baby blessings that day, including the blessing of Dan's brother Zane's littlest son Heston. It was so neat to share this blessing day with them.
A very partial attempt at a group shot. It was fast Sunday, there were a lot of people and there was food waiting in the kitchen, so we got who we got and that was the best we could do. If you were here, but are not in the picture please forgive us and know that we love you a lot!
I still love her even if she's a little hot, hungry and cranky. :)
My parents, grandparents and my aunt Kamie.
Four generations...
My uncle Glenn, his wife, and their daughter Emily (and her kids Gwen and Broc).
Yay food!
A party would never be complete unless someone stuck a Cheetoe up their nose...
A few shots at home this week.
And one random one to end the post. Please don't look at my wrinkles...instead look at the little cute face of Miss Avery. I need to weigh her and see what she's up to now, but my scale is out of batteries so that number will remain a mystery for now. As you can see though, she is growing and chunking out a little and we are thrilled about it!

Being a mother is the greatest job in the world! I love my 3 girls more than I could ever say. They make my life happy (and messy) and I wouldn't have it any other way. I love being with my family and I love the fun times we get to spend together. I will forever be grateful to my Father in Heaven for the inspired organization of the family. I truly cherish my role as a mother!
