We went to In-N-Out in Vegas on Saturday and Kallie thought it was great fun to feed the pigeons her left over fries. I thought seagulls came out of the woodwork when ever there is food around...but holy cow! Pigeons are psycho- Kallie threw the first fry and all the sudden they were swarming us and making our mighty killer dog crazy. Hopefully you think this is a funny as we did...a little dog torture is always good for a laugh :)
By the way...Dan and I finally received a calling in our new ward yesterday (we haven't been sustained yet so this is top secret...if it gets out we'll kill you all). We are going to be...NURSERY LEADERS! Ha! We've NEVER been nursery leaders before so I guess it is high time we have a turn, and in a ward with 6 (yes 6) nurseries your odds are pretty good of serving the little children. Dan was beyond EXCITED (seriously)! He was pointing out the following: no meetings, no mid-week activities, get to sit with your family during sacrament meeting, 5 min. lesson to prepare and can't forget that you get to play with toys and eat snacks. By the time he was done listing all of the fabulous things about nursery Kallie and Sydney were begging to come in there with us!!!

I played this, now Lucy is barking. She hears her boyfriend. That was funny.
Congrats about the calling. Nursery would be a fun calling. No meetings is the best one of all, and the snacks.

Matt & I were nursery leaders in Iowa and it was one of our funnest/favorite callings. Probably b/c we got to be together as well. You guys will be fantastic. Those kids are hilarious.
What would it be like to sit together as a family? You'll have to let me know. :)
Wow that took a long time to get a calling. When you move to hailey you pretty much pull in the driveway and you have a calling. hehe. Sounds like a fun calling!
The new nursery manual is great to. I love nursery. That is my favorite place, for all the reason that you named. I also like that age. They don't talk back. Generally they like you.
That was Michael's and my calling when we first moved to Iowa also, and it was by far our favorite calling too. Dan's right about all the benefits, plus some. Have fun with it.
Beau needs prozac. It might help him...

Dan may pretend like he doesn't like Beau, but look how much fun he adds to your home! I see you smiling Dan! Sherry says he's the dog with 9 lives!
We are just the opposite of you guys. Every time we move that's the first place they put us, but you're right it is a pretty easy calling!
Dan reminds me of Jenn, he can spin anything until you love it and can see all the great things about it. That is such a great quality! And he makes some valid points, the snacks alone....
